Office IT clearouts in Austin
A move, office closure, or storage-room cleanup needs more than a list of laptops. Austin Tech Recycling reviews the equipment and building access together so you can discuss a realistic removal plan before anyone arrives.
Request a pickupA rough list is enough. No account required. Terms and timing need confirmation.
Is this a fit for your equipment?
Useful when an organization needs to retire office technology during a move, downsizing, closure, or larger cleanup. The scope is agreed IT and electronics equipment; do not assume that furniture, building waste, or unrelated junk removal is included.
Equipment we can review
- Office computer fleets and workstation equipment
- Server, networking, and storage-room IT
- Monitors, peripherals, cable lots, and other electronics to review
These are examples for review. What we can take and how it will be handled are confirmed for your specific request.
Mention these details before pickup
- Stairs, elevators, loading areas, parking, and the floor where equipment is stored
- Racks, heavy items, batteries, and equipment that needs additional handling
- A lease deadline, move date, internal approvals, or custody requirements
What to have ready
- Identify the equipment you are authorized to release and keep it separate from items staying on site.
- Estimate quantities and tell us whether items are loose, boxed, or in racks.
- Share access constraints and your requested timeline without assuming a pickup date is already reserved.
Keep passwords, encryption keys, confidential contents, employee information, and full serial-number inventories out of the public form.
Purchase offers and pickup costs
Condition, current resale evidence, travel, access, and handling needs affect the options. We may be unable to take a lot. When a proposal is available, you can review it before deciding.
- A purchase offer
- If the reviewed equipment supports a purchase, the proposal states what we pay you.
- Pickup covered by the lot
- Some reviewed lots support pickup without a removal charge. This is agreed for the specific lot.
- An agreed removal fee
- Travel, labor, recycling, or other handling costs may require a fee. The proposal states what you pay before you decide.
Plan for stored data before transfer
Flag devices, drives, or networking configurations that may hold information. Discuss retention requirements, custody, handling steps, and any documentation before equipment moves.
A request or pickup does not certify erasure, destruction, recycling, or compliance. Device-level claims need evidence for the specific device or media.

Can I request a clearout before my inventory is complete?
Yes. Describe the equipment types, approximate amounts, pickup ZIP, and access constraints. We can ask for more detail before discussing a proposal.
Can you work around a business move or closure?
Include the deadline in your request so it can be reviewed alongside the equipment and access needs. Availability and timing need confirmation; a submitted form does not reserve a crew or guarantee a deadline.
Does accepting a proposal confirm the pickup time?
No. Proposal acceptance and scheduling are separate steps. Your pickup is confirmed when a scheduled time appears on your private request page.
Tell us what you have.
We’ll talk through the options and arrange a pickup once the details are agreed.
