Data handling

Plan for the data before the pickup.

Old computers, phones, servers, and loose drives may still hold information that matters to you. Tell us when data might be present—even if you’re unsure—and we can discuss the handling you need.

Request a pickup

Tell us which devices may hold data.

Check “This equipment may contain stored data” in your request. You can describe device types and approximate quantities without sharing sensitive contents.

For example: “About 15 laptops and a box of loose drives. Some may still contain business data.”

Let’s agree on the handling before pickup.

  • Identify devices and storage media that may contain data.
  • Share any retention, legal hold, or internal approval requirements.
  • Agree on custody, handling steps, and documentation before pickup or transfer.
  • Keep your own backups and access records where needed.

Your request starts the conversation.

We’ll use the details you share to discuss a handling plan. Sending a form does not inspect or erase a device, and it does not create a certificate.

We use terms such as completed, verified, certified, or compliant only when retained evidence supports that exact statement for the specific device or media.
