Sell surplus business IT in Austin
An office upgrade can leave useful equipment behind. Tell Austin Tech Recycling about the business IT you want to sell, and a person will review whether a purchase offer makes sense for the lot.
Request a pickupA rough list is enough. No account required. Terms and timing need confirmation.
Is this a fit for your equipment?
Useful for surplus laptop or desktop fleets, retired workstations, and business server or networking lots. A liquidation request is a conversation about an equipment purchase and removal; this site does not operate an auction or consignment marketplace.
Equipment we can review
- Business laptops, desktops, and workstations
- Servers, networking hardware, and useful components
- Matching fleets or mixed surplus IT lots
These are examples for review. What we can take and how it will be handled are confirmed for your specific request.
Mention these details before pickup
- Equipment age, model, quantity, condition, and missing accessories
- Activation locks, account enrollment, leased equipment, or ownership restrictions
- Storage media, data-retention requirements, and your proposed transfer timing
What to have ready
- Confirm that your organization is authorized to sell or transfer the equipment.
- Separate known working equipment from untested or damaged items.
- Gather available model and quantity information without including serial-number inventories or account credentials in the form.
Keep passwords, encryption keys, confidential contents, employee information, and full serial-number inventories out of the public form.
Purchase offers and pickup costs
Condition, current resale evidence, travel, access, and handling needs affect the options. We may be unable to take a lot. When a proposal is available, you can review it before deciding.
- A purchase offer
- If the reviewed equipment supports a purchase, the proposal states what we pay you.
- Pickup covered by the lot
- Some reviewed lots support pickup without a removal charge. This is agreed for the specific lot.
- An agreed removal fee
- Travel, labor, recycling, or other handling costs may require a fee. The proposal states what you pay before you decide.
Plan for stored data before transfer
Flag devices, drives, or networking configurations that may hold information. Discuss retention requirements, custody, handling steps, and any documentation before equipment moves.
A request or pickup does not certify erasure, destruction, recycling, or compliance. Device-level claims need evidence for the specific device or media.

How is an equipment purchase offer decided?
A person reviews the equipment identity, condition, quantity, current resale evidence, and the costs of collecting and handling the lot. A rough list starts the review; it is not an instant valuation or a guaranteed offer.
What if only part of the lot has resale value?
Describe the entire lot. Useful equipment and items with handling costs can be considered together, but the resulting proposal must state whether we pay you, pickup is covered, a removal fee is required, or we cannot take the lot.
Are you selling used equipment through this website?
These pages are for organizations retiring or selling their own equipment. The request workflow is not a retail catalog, buyer marketplace, or auction service.
Tell us what you have.
We’ll talk through the options and arrange a pickup once the details are agreed.
